MODO 2021 Program: June 28th, 2021 - May 31st, 2022
For female youth in Northern Uganda who are looking to gain skills, MODO's one-year Fashion Entrepreneurship program provides a complete education in tailoring & fashion design that creates a direct pathway to employment or entrepreneurship in the fashion industry.
Students will gain skills in:
Tailoring
From day one students will be hands on with a sewing machine and they will end the program as a master tailor.
Fashion Design
Students will be trained on the art of design in the apparel industry and will be equipped with the skills to design the future of fashion in Uganda.
Entrepreneurship
Many of our students graduate and start businesses of their own because at MODO they learn how to set up and run a tailoring business in their community.

MODO's Fashion Entrepreneurship Program is 1/3 of the time and 1/2 the cost compared to other vocational programs.
The total fees paid to MODO totals 1,500,000 UGX for the year which covers a sewing machine and program costs. Students are expected to bring their own materials which average around 700,000 UGX for the year.
Program Fee's
One-year program fees are 1,000,000 UGX
Sewing Machine
A student has the option to sign up for a sewing machine, 500,000 UGX, that they will own upon program completion.
Required Materials
We require students to bring materials as they need for the program. The expected material cost for the full one-year program is 700,000 UGX.

Pick Up an Application at our Office in Gulu
Visit our office located at Plot 29 Gulu Avenue, Gulu City Mall 1st Floor, Gulu, Uganda. Pick up an application with a small application fee of 5,000 UGX. Apply by June 7th.
